2 million people in Hong Kong joined the protest against an extradition bill

2 million people joined the demonstration. Hong Kong’s population is said to be around 7.5 million, it works out that more than a quarter residents participated it.

June 16, 2019 is the day people who loves freedom and democracy has started another resistance to China after 30 years since 1989 Tiananmen Square protests. The resistance to China must go on.

Nearly two million people have taken part in a mass protest in Hong Kong against a controversial extradition bill, organisers say.

If confirmed, it would be the largest protest in Hong Kong’s history. Police said turnout was 338,000 at its peak.
